"Life in Houston carries on. We got a whole new flock of new WWII Flames of War people now centered at a NW side Fantasy shop. I've taken the roll of 'bring them into the fold' and have run several games up there. Good bunch of mature guys who are sick of fantasy 40K stuff." [Rob is a GM down in Houston Texas, regularly plays a few games in the Fantasy shop, hitting pay dirt! He used Flames of War (FoW) which is a basic set of WW2 rules with both scenario's and tournament points system. (and has books set-up in a similar full-color format and marketing approach that GW used.) *NOTE: To find "Flames of War" try "LITTLE WARS" run by "Beau jest" Tony" and "Le Mis" Cheri Rocha Little Wars, Houston's historical game shop carries "Flames of War" rules, books, and Minis (with reliable mail order) See: www.littlewars.net Back to After Action Review April 2004 Table of Contents Back to After Action Review List of Issues Back to Master Magazine List © Copyright 2004 by Pete Panzeri.
