Zach and I love our DBA game and armies. He has Early Romans and I have Early Carthaginians and Marion Romans. We can set up and play a couple of games in 2 hours. he usually kicks my butt. We are branching out to the middle ages. I will do a Papal Knights. Zach wants to paint late Franks/Normans. Lots of Osprey books on Normans/Franks. Do you know of a source with color pictures for Papal Knights. 1049-1320 AD? Found a good friend here that is into Naps and Am Rev war. He does a little 15mm but mostly 25mm. He knows you through E-Mail traffic, Eric Jones. we played Quatre Bras scenario 2 weeks ago. What a slaughter pen. Over 10000 casualties. Ended in a draw with the edge going to the allies. The French heavy Cav Corps under MacDonald was decimated to include the two Guard regiments. The Allied Cav only had 1 Regt left. The Duke of Brunswick was captured, and the Prince of Orange had to lead a cav charge. Wellington saved the day when he entered the board due to winning the initiative rolls and let me shoot first. Ney had to leave the board for a turn to lead Jerome's corps on the board. Jerome could never make his initial activation roll. Great game!
