Civil War Preservation Trust

Contacts

by Pete Panzeri

In 2002, the Civil War Preservation Trust's curriculum on the Civil War will be in the hands of educators nationwide. The curriculum will direct teachers to an online resource list of reenactors who are willing to present some type of living history program for students in their area. Being on this list does not obligate a reenactor to visit a classroom every time he/she is contacted by a teacher. It is just a way of saying that they are willing to help when their schedule permits.

If you are interested, please provide CWPT with whatever contact information you would like to have made available to the teachers. Also, let them know your areas of specialty. Finally, while CVBT would like to make this a free service, if you do charge a fee for your presentation, just let them know.

Contact Jennifer Lind at jlind@civilwar.org or call 1-800-298-7878, ext. 207.
