Garde Grenadier At The Battle of Minden, 1759. The uniform plate is one in a series of color plates drawn by Richard Knotel in the late 19th Century. The picture depicts a grenadier from the Hanoverian Guard Regiment as they attacked the French cavalry. The standard shown is the King's Standard and the officer is from von Hardenberg's regiment.
