8. Consideration is being given by two of our members to hold SYWA Meets in the future. Both wish to hear from members as to their interests. Both prospective sites are near each Other so perhaps our "Man on Horseback" can give some thought to merging their efforts. First, John Laing of Rafm Company Inc., 11 Concession Street Cambridge , Ontario, Canada NIR 2G6 is thinking about having a meet in Southern Ontario-Toronto-Upper New York in the spring or summer of 1986, perhaps in conjunction with a local convention. He feels that the dozen or so Canadian members in the area plops members in New York might have an interest in same.

Second is Hap Jordan, 14 Parkview Avenue, Jamestown, NY 14701 who hopes to have a meet in 1987 at Fort Niaqra, New York complete with a prominent guest speaker. He feels that his idea will especially appeal to the ladies who surely will want to take advantage of Niagra Falls plays across the border.

These are wonderful ideas and I ask that all interested members and vendors in this region contact John and let them know what their thoughts might be and also of course, to volunteer to judge an event. This is exactly the sort of thing we want to see happen and so let us help our "Men on Horseback" get off to a good start. Perhaps someday we could all even meet at a favorite place of mine on the shores of Lake Champlain, Fort Ticonderoga.
