My new printer that I mentioned in the last issue has turned out to be too expensive and no better than the fine people at Office Max in terms of quality. Therefore I have been forced to go back to them and to having to print out my covers on my own printer, one at a time. Despite numerous quotes from other printing companies, doing it myself seems to be the only cost effective option. Oh well, c 'est la guerre Concerning This Issue Well, it's quite obvious that I have not been able to achieve my personal goal of getting out an issue on a quarterly basis. My futile search for a new printer, as well as a new job, are partly to blame for this. I have also once again upgraded my computer system. I hope to get this issue in the mail by New Year's Day or thereabouts. The good news is that you will not need to renew until after Christmas when issue number four comes out in the spring! Thus you will not have to hork out another $30.00 when you are already strapped for cash due to the economic Zorndorf that is often occasioned by the Yuletide for many of us. I am pleased to be able to include another color supplement with this issue, several of which were provided by Mike Kirby to accompany the articles on the Portuguese campaign. Erratum Note: Please be advised that I misspelled Jorge Sanchez-Galarraga's last name on about half of the color inserts. His last name should have only one "l" in it and a set of double "r" instead of the other way around. The Duffy Tour There is some late-breaking news concerning the 2002 Duffy Tour. Those who are interested in taking it should read what I have placed in the Newsletter section of the Journal. It appears that Todd Fisher of the Emperor's Headquarters has volunteered to take over the arrangements from Marc Heine of Flexi-Breaks. Those wishing to go on this tour are advised to contact Todd.
