Charles Sharp provided the pictures [shown on the cover and below] of the regimental baggage carts and wagons used by the Russian army during the SYW. The pictures come from a book titled Regulyarnaya Pekhota 1698-1801, or Regular infantry 1698-1801. These wagons would make a colorful addition to anyone's SYW Russian army. Charles also notes that regulations had the infantry deploying into a line of four ranks with grenadier companies deployed on the flanks of the battalions. More in the next issue!
