So get writing those uniform articles! I want to include more colour maps with battle articles so send in nice clear black & white maps and I will get the felt pens out to brighten things up a bit.

Please keep the articles coming, we need more battle, uniform and book reviews. Without our contributors, who are as important as our reader (!), First Empire can’t exist, so help keep history alive before the powers that be deem it politically incorrect!

Well as you can see Santa did bring some new colouring pens, so we have a new format. First Empire is back down to its specification size of 32 pages but with a total of 16 pages of colour, 12
of them in glorious 4 colour. This also removed the need for a price increase and means that over the next year more pages will (hopefully) become colour.
