Book Review:

reviewed by Paul Chamberlain, UK

36pp pages A4 booklet 7 Euro inclding P &P Mag. Herbert Zima, Salzburg 2002

Despite is German text, enthusiasts of the 1800 campaign will find this booklet, a very useful resource. It will not be beyond most non-German readers to glean the important facts. It is very well presented and nicely illustrated, as a major plus the maps are very clear and well done. The orders of battle appear complete and detailed and in themselves are worth the price of 7.00Euro. It can be obtained from “Hohenlinden 2000”, Alfons Nagel, Steinstr. 4, 85664 Hohenlinden, Germany. Details of the Hohen-linden website were provided with the review copy, and although this book doesn’t appear to be available to be ordered on line although other titles are, www.schlacht-von-hohenlinden.de for more details.
