It’s not the heat its those damned drums! As I stare through the heat haze in the rear orifice, wondering what words of wisdom to write to fill these last couple of column inches, the Summer has arrived and England are whipping the Indians at Cricket, perhaps there is some joy to be had after England’s early exit from the world cup! Again I need to make a plea for more battle articles, I want to run at least two battles per issue with OB’s if possible so get writing, it doesn’t matter if we have covered it before as long as you have a new perspective. Dispatches appear to have dried up again, so let's get those letters coming in. I was looking through some back issues and it was quite revealing just how many letters we used to get in and the responses to them. I blame the Internet for this one though, the number of forums and discussion boards is killing the old art of letter writing. So use the First Empire forum and I can take the questions and answers from there. See you next issue!
