Napoleon at Leipzig - Amendments

Charles Vasey, has available a comprehensive set of rule ammendments for the Napoleon at Leipzig boardgame from Clash of Arms Games. Written by Andrzej Cierpicki, a British Pole living in Hong Kong, they are described as `trying to get a teensy bit more reality in to what was originally a sort of dodgems in Napoleonic Drag'. The ammendments, comprising 8 A4 sheets, are well presented and include a modified Combats Result Table.

The Lone Warriors search for company

The Solo Wargamers Association (SWA), is a world wide association, founded in 1976, that deals with all aspects of wargaming from a solo angle.

The magazine of the SWA is called Lone Warrior and is published bimonthly. It is written by wargamers for wargamers and contains the following regular columns; Boardgames, Computers, Forum (letters section), Play by Mail, Fantasy, Quartermasters Stores (list of top class UK based firms), Can You Help (Members ask for advice and others respond), Army surplus (sale of items) and Reviews (details of the latest items being released).

The Association also offers the following unique services to its members;

SWA Library

Books, magazines, rules (59 sets), Notes (11 sets), game packs (12) and boardgames (25) that can be borrowed by any member, usually for one month, for the price of postage.

SWA Adviser Service

A member with a wargaming problem can contact the relevant adviser from the list of 16 periods, which range from ancients through to modern, that are covered by this service. Only cost is postage.

SWA Helpers

If you need assistance with a campaign or battle these are the members to approach. Again the only cost is postage.
