Born 22. 12. 1768. - died after 6. 1821.
22.12.1783. Cadet in the 2nd Brigade of the Polish National Cavalry.
15.6.1794. Cornet.
1795. Emigrated to European Turkey and joined the Deniski detachment on the final dismemberment of Poland.
21.11.1796. In the Polish Battalion, Lombardy Legion; appointed sergeant.
1.12.1798. Second Lieutenant in the Italian Legion.
7.1.1801. Lieutenant in the Legion's lancer regt.
13.8.1802. Lieutenant in the 1st. (reformed) Polish demi-brigade.
11.13.1806. Captain.
24.3.1809. Seriously wounded at Yevennes, Spain. Fell prisoner and shipped to England.
1.10.1813. Freed with other prisoners as an invalid, and returned to France.
10.11.1813. Joined 7th. Lancers at Sedan, and commanded a squadron during the 1814 campaign. After Marmont's capitulation, Sczulz took his squadron to Napoleon at Fontainbleau. Napoleon included the entire unit into the Guard on the spot, and they accompanied him to Elba.
14.4.1814. Appointed Captain and commander of the Elba squadron.
5.6.1815. Appointed captain of the Imperial Guard Polish Lancers.
23.6.1815. Arrested by the English at Rochefort whilst accompanying Napoleon and taken to Malta.
6.8.1816. Freed and returned to France, then to Poland via Italy.
2.1817. Expelled by Prince Konstantin; sailed to the USA and joined a group of Bonapartists in Texas, organised by Gen. Lallamand. Commanded 2nd Cohort.
23.2.1820. Returned to France alter the declaration of an amnesty. Unsuccessfully applied for French citizenship and a pension.
After 6. 1821. Died in abject poverty.
