This has meant that we have got a little behind with orders, so apologies to all who had to wait. As I write I believe that we only have three which can be considered overdue.
On the upside we managed to save most of our important files, except of course this issue - so what you have before you is something of a crisis edition!
On the downside, the one bit we didn't have backed up was our email contacts and articles submitted by email. So if you sent something in over the net between December 1st 97 and 14 January 1998 please send it again!

Well I hope you all saw the New Year in with a bang. We certainly did! Floods and power cuts meant that we lost our computer systems for two weeks. So much frantic hacking and chopping of machines, swearing cursing and threats of imminent destruction to anything that had a plug took place, that the new editorial concubine (Hi! Paula) began to wonder exactly what she had got herself into. Fortunately I am now back to my sunnier disposition, (i.e. Only miserable when there's a "y" in the day), and matters are getting back on track.
