Having read the article by Peter Wilson in the May-June issue of PRACTICAL WARGAMER on the Piedmomese Army 1689-1748 1 am inspired to branch out into this theatre from the mainland European operations I am currently involved in. Uniform details although not plentiful are at least available to a reasonable degree for most of the combatants but the major problem is flags. Does anyone know of any publication, English or foreign, that gives details of the flags for Piedmont, Naples, Modena and Spain during the War of the Austrian Succession in Italy?
