I gave a try to three bases and they look nice. In order to make small turns the 9&#215;3 plasticard is cut to a trapezoid isoscele with bases of 9 and 7 cm. Then the bases are trimmed to an angle, to obtain a side of approximately 3 cm, to match with the standard rectangular bases.
