Review by Michael Gilbert
Dave Jackson carries the excellent Chariot range, and he keeps me in good supply with the latest releases from this range. They blend in perfectly with the other major 10mm scale lines. Some of the Chariot figures are variations of "regular" wargame figure poses. But the designers outdid themselves with several pieces. A standing zouave in a straw hat, an infantryman in kepi with a blanket roll, a soldier loading his rifle and a cavalryman kneeling with carbine are all excellent examples of a great line. Also, the Franco-Prussian era French zouaves are useful too. The packs cost $2.70 each, and $2.00 will get you a catalogue and a sample figure. Using the figures of companies such as GHQ and Chariot, the ACW gamer/collector is best served by the 10mm scale. Now all you need is one of those N gauge electric train sets . . . this is getting expensive! Chariot Miniatures are available from Dave Jackson of Pharaoh's Arms, P.O.
