The Picket Line Reviews:

Hills and Dales

review by Mike Gilbert

Many readers of The Zouave and Eagles, Empires and Lions know that I am a terrain freak. And since I complain about not having any spare time to build it myself, what do I do? Hire contractors, yup! Bob and Deb Lehman do "Hills and Dales" to museum quality standards (as good as me!) and mavbe with much more care, since Bob sells the sruff to others. Not only are the trees and bushes really well done and solidly implanted, the basic miniarure terrain module is on a solid masonite base. (Hey, my cats chew my Geo-Hex edges and you know how hard it is to repair those things!) I got a big sunken road section, curved, with the best damned high ground for a battery you'd ever want. Also, I received a small "woods" section - cute and easy to maneuver through, with "live" and dead trees with underbrush. The sunken road section had fences and a small field.

These goodies are highly affordable, averaging about $15.00 for a square foot of land with no mortgage. Along with Murph's Turf, Bob and Deb Lehman produce stuff I'd like to claim as my own work. Buy some now! Really recommended.
