Notes from the Editor . . .

Dave Reynolds

This issue begins our tenth year. The hobby has really grown since 1987. Conventions have increased in scope and attendance. There are more and better figures available. Terrain has become much more realistic, and rules are improved and more playable. What's next? Through Cyperspace, our gaming will be enhanced by the computer. I believe we are just a short time away from the "breakthrough."

On the subject of Cyperspace, your Zouave magazine is currently exploring the possibility of going "on line." Who would've "thunk" it ten years ago?

Chris Johnston is hard at work completing our next Shenendoah Campaign System module; will you be able to stop Sherman? Hope to have all the info in the next issue.

Lastly, we would not have made it this far without many members sending in articles and scenarios we still need them!

GENERAL ORDERS: if you do your submission on computer (and most have been in the past), we MUST have a disk in addition to hard copy. This really helps us in preparing each issue.

Enjoy our 38th issue!

Places that knew them shall know them no more...
