The Modified Spanish Low Countries army was represented as follows:

Spanish C-in-C command:

CiC as heavily armored superior lancers Ln(S)

Yellow regiment of 4 ordinary pike elements Pk(O), 4 ordinary shot elements [musketeers] Sh(O) and 1 inferior artillery element Art(l) [to represent the light mobile Swedish battalion guns Jim had painted]

Blue regiment of 4 ordinary pike elements Pk(O), 4 inferior shot elements [arquebusiers] Sh(I) and 1 inferior artillery element Art(I)

Cavalry group of 3 lightly armored [fast] lancers Ln(F)

Spanish Sub-General's command:

Sub-General as heavily armored superior lancers Ln(S)

Red regiment of 4 ordinary pike elements Pk(O), 2 musketeer elements Sh(O) and 2 arquebusier elements Sh(I)

Artillery group of 1 very heavy gun element Art(S)

Cavalry group as 5 reiters [caracole pistoliers who shoot from very deep formations, classed as inferior pistols] Pi(I) and 2 herguletier [mounted skirmishing arquebusiers] elements LH(I)

Cavalry group of lightly armored [fast] lancers 2 Ln(F)

The Dutch Rebellion army was represented as follows:

Dutch C-in-C command:

Dutch CiC as a cuirassier [superior pistolier] Pi(S)

1 element of mounted skirmishing arquebusiers as inferior light horse LH(I)

Dragoon regiment of 2 elements of musket-armed [ordinary] dragoons Dr(O)

Friesland battalion of 2 elements of ordinary pike Pk(O), 2 elements of musketeers Sh(O), and 2 elements of arquebusiers Sh(I).

Zeeland battalion of 2 elements of ordinary pike Pk(O), 2 elements of musketeers Sh(O), and 2 elements of arquebusiers Sh(I).

Gelderland battalion of 2 elements of ordinary pike Pk(O), 2 elements of musketeers Sh(O), and 2 elements of arquebusiers Sh(I).

Dutch Sub-General's command:

Dutch Sub-General as a cuirassier [superior pistolier] Pi(S)

Cavalry group of 6 elements of German reiters [caracole pistoliers who shoot from very deep formations, classed as inferior pistols] Pi(I)

Cavalry group of 4 elements of Dutch cuirassiers in 3/4 plate armor as superior pistoliers Pi(S)

1 element of mounted skirmishing arquebusiers as inferior light horse LH(I)

Emplaced artillery battery as two elements of "great gonnes" superior artillery Art (S) protected on 3 sides by emplacements counting as temporary fortifications TF
