Sculptor Michael Perry (of the Perry Twins) is recovering from a recent accident.

The accident occurred while participating in an anniversary refight of the Battle of Crecy in France as part of a cannon crew.

While ramming a charge of gunpowder, there was an explosion that damaged his right hand so badly that it had to be amputated.

Mike is now back sculpting and though a bit slower is still putting out some top quality figs.

Best wishes to a quick and speedy recovery go out from all at RI.

July 26, 1996-Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. President and CEO Steve Geppi announced that he acquired selected assets of the Madison, WI based Capital Distribution.

With his Timonium, MD headquartered company already a recognized leader in the comic and entertainment related industry, Geppi stated that this acquisition was "a reinvestment in the long term heaith of the comic industry."

The news from Grenadier employee at GenCon was the demise of their company. Grenadier was one of the oldest of the miniatures companies, with a wide and varied line of fantasy figures in 15 and 25 mm.

You should expect to see the figure lines back on the market soon from other companies.

Fantasy Games Unlimited had made a claim of ownership to the publishing rights for BUSHIDO. Gold Rush Games, the producer of the game has stated they own the publishing rights to Bushido 3rd Edition RPG and have handed the matter to their attourney. There is a scheduled release date in 1997.
