Kennington Miniatures

20mm Boxer Rebellion Figures

by Richard Brooks

Kennington Miniatures, 1A Kempsford Road, London, SE1 14NU, England. Mr. Edwards has sent along the officers to those Boxer Rebellion European troops reviewed in issue #95. There are five officers offered (Russian, British, American, Japanese and German). These figures measure 21mm from the bottom of the boot to their eyes.

BRU7 The Russian Officer is in summer service kittel, has one hand on his gun and the other holding field glasses.

BB7 British Officer is wearing his Sam Browne pattern equipment advancing with a sword held up in his right hand.

BU55 the American officer is infantry but could be painted as a marine. He is walking with one hand on his sword the other on his belt.

BG6 the German officer is in German East Asia Brigade uniform, advancing with a pistol in his right hand.

BRJ5 Japanese officer is standing with field glasses in right hand and left on his sword.

Overall the detail is nicely done and quite visable even tor my eyes. These should paint up very well and be a nice addition to any Boxer Rebellion scenario.
