This supplement is a perfect example of how wide-open the Mage system is. The Void Engineers are a breed of Mage who specialize in dimension-hopping and fighting Cthulu-esque baddies in the ether (or wherever they can be cornered and stomped). While that's a bit simplistic, it illustrates the nature of the supplement. Witness the chapter devoted to a Void Engineer warship, equipped and crewed such that it is a good cross between Doc Savage (mighty geniuses fight evil), Star Trek, and your typical Call of Cthulu game. The supplement supplies the history, organizational chart, technology, and politics of the Void Engineers.
