    449 men were hospitalised at Riobamba, Ambato and Latacunga.

This gave the Royalist force a total of 1,894 men on the battlefield, plus an additional 500 armed civilians stationed on Panecillo while the Battalion Cataluna was at Otavalo. General Sucre is credited with capturing 1,100 men, 160 officers and officials, 14 cannon and 1,700 men.

Casualties are given as; 190 Royalist and 140 Colonists,

Colonial officer casualties were: Captain Molina, Captain Cabal, Captain Castro, Captain Alzuro, Lieutenant Calderon, Lieutenant Ramirez, Lieutenant Borrero, Lieutenant Arango, and Lieutenant Mendoza.

    Primer Huachi: 22nd November 1820
    Tanizagua: 3rd January 1821
    Yaguachi: 19th August 1821
    Segundo Huachi: 12th September 1821

    Pichincha: 24th May 1822
