STANDARD OF THE NAVAL SQUADRON
OF ADMIRAL WILLIAM BROWN

The Standard is being held by a gunner from the "Artilleria de Mar" Company, his helmet is in black leather with black leather front and rear peaks, the comb, helmet badge, visor edging, chin-scales and boss are in brass, red pompon, black helmet cords. Tunic is blue with blue collar and cuffs, collar and cuffs piped in red, a red anchor sewn on the collar, lapels and turnbacks are blue piped red, the turnbacks have red flaming bombs, brass buttons, white waistcoat, trousers are blue, black shoes with blue cloth spats, white leather belts and straps, black leather side-arm scabbard with brass fittings. Standard has a white field, in the centre the legend "11 de Junio de 1826" in black lettering, on either side is a red three petaled flower, surrounding this are two branches of laurel leaves in green tied by a red ribbon, the hanging bow from the staff is in the national colours, that is; sky-blue - white - sky-blue, with a gold lace fringe on both ends, a steel point on a brown wood staff.
