Cap in blue cloth with a gold lace band, black leather visor with gold lace along edge, chin-scales and cap plate in gilt metal, tunic in blue, lapels, collar and cuffs in red with gold lace trim showing a thin red edge, gilt buttons, red piping to the front of tunic, turnbacks red, black waist-belt and sword slings, waistcoat blue with gold lace edging, breeches white, black boots black leather sword scabbard with gilt fittings, gilt hilt.

Cap as per fig.1. except no chin-scales and only one row of gold lace on visor. Tunic blue with red collar, cuffs, turnbacks and front of tunic piping, collar has gold lace trim, gold lace epaulettes, gilt gorget and buttons, trousers blue, black shoes, waist-belt and sword slings, sword scabbard and hilt as per fig.1.
