Shako black, top and bottom bands in black silk, red cords and tassels, pom pom has a white top and red bottom in a brass holder above a brass plate, chin-scales in brass black visor, tunic blue, red collar and piping, yellow flaming bomb on collar, blue cuffs and turnbacks, brass buttons, cuff bar is blue with 3 yellow lace sections, trousers are blue with 2 wide and 1 thin red outer seam lace, black shoes.

Fig. 2. Officer, Cuerpo de Ingenieros Militares, 1827. Bicorne black with gold lace tassels, tunic sky-blue, collar and cuffs in blue with gold lace edging, lapels and turnbacks in white, gilt buttons, epaulettes in gold lace, white pocket piping, black shoes.
