The other kneeling figure holds an M3 greasegun and avoids this problem. The prone figure is up on one elbow, firing his (undetailed) Colt .45 across his body. I liked him though I'd not want to have to fire from this position. The last figure, running, carries a M3 greasegun and is also well done, though the pose would be awkward in real life, as he has his left hand against his left (trailing) leg, which, when I tried it, seriously affected my running agility. The current Raventhorpe catalog includes all manner of WW I and WW II troops, including Poles, Rumanians, Slovaks, etc., a variety of separate heads, and new ranges covering the Mexican Revolutionary Wars (Pancho Villa et al), Boer Wars, and the Zulu War. Raventhorpe Miniatures cost $.85 each (heavy weapons may run as high as $15.00) and are available from your local gameshop or directly from the sole importer, RLBPS, at 2604 Knight Ave., Rockford, IL 61101. - BILL RUTHERFORD Back to Table of Contents -- Courier #68 Copyright 1995 by The Courier Publishing Company. |
