This range presently consists of two collections of figures; one
covering Middle East Arabs and Allies from 700 to 1400 AD, and a
range of Seljuk Turks and Allies. The Arab range consists of assorted
infantrv, including Arab crossbowmen, command,
African foot, light cavalry, mounted command and Arab camel
drummers. The Seljuk Turk range consists of 24 different packs of
figures including a variety of Seljuk, Turkoman, Georgian, Armenian,
Cuman, Syrian, and Mameluke cavalry types as well as accompanying
infantry including three sets of Frankish heavy infantry with crossbows
and spears. Figures are 16M Barrett Scale. They are well cast with
virtually no flash, and are well detailed. Crossbows on sample figures
are cast separately and will need to be attached. Infantry in many cases
comes in at least three varieties per pack; cavalry and camelry figures and
their mounts are cast as one piece. The African infantry with spears
included an interesting kneeling pose. These are available from
Wargames, Box 278, Triadelphia WV, 26059 0278 for $3.29 a pack
which includes eight infantry, six command, four cavalry or three
mounted command. - JOHN BOEHM
