This range actually consists of four groupings of figures including Tang and Five Dynasties Chinese, Tibetans, Sung Chinese and Khitan Liao. The Tang Chinese consists of 12 different sets of figures including command, light, heavy, and extra heavy cavalry, horse archers, heavy and medium infantry, crossbowmen, archers and artillerists. The Tibetans include three cavalry figures and a Nepalese archer. the Sung Chinese consists of nine different listings including mounted command, heavy and light cavalry, horse archers, infantry, aossbowmen, archers and javelins. The Khitan Liao consists of eight packs including command, light, heavy and extra heavy cavalry, spearmen, bowmen and crossbowmen. The figures are 16M Barrett Measure. They are cast virtually flash free and contain some very interesting poses including the Khitan Liao mounted general with a falcon on his wrist, a very animated Sung Chinese horse archer at full release on a galloping horse, and a very interesting extra heavy Tang Chinese cavalry horse. The figures are highly detailecl for 15mm figures, and even my failing sight can appreciate the facial detail and expressions. Horses and riders are cast separately. the figures are available from Wargames, Box 278, Triadelphia WV, 26059-0278 for $3.29 a pack which inclucles eight infantry, four cavalry or three mounted command.
