Well actually it should be shrinking membership. One need not be a rocket scientist to notice our club is getting smaller, membership wise. And that's unfortunate but there's not a whole lot I can do about it. For over a year or so, I have been trying to attract members as best as posslble, meeting with limlted success. I tried a membership drive contest which falled completely. I have placed ads in Polyhedron and may have gotten one or two responses. I have tried reduced membership fees at conventions and have had a little success at that. I'm at a total loss as to what to do next. I can't even keep the current membershlp from leavlng the club when membershlp expires. It is totally infuriating. I know at some point in time there won't been enough members to make it possible to produce Chainmail let alone keep the club golng. So what can I do? I need answers, ideas, suggestions. Will I get any? Past questions like this have gotten very few if any responses. Will I get any thls time? I doubt It, but lets see it any of YOU can prove me wrong.
