The Holy Armoury

By Rau

Greetings DragonSlayers!

Today I would like to talk about a couple of companies. One being "Medi-Arm". This company with a slogan of "weapons rnade to order" and "If you can draw it, we can usually make it". As for their swords, which range from short to hand and a half (bastard) as their fighting and eating daggers, are all rnade of EN42 and EN43 spring steel and hardened to 45 carbon. With a one year warranty, they say they are not limited to what they can provide. They also provide pole arms, hand axes, two handed axes, and maces and war hammers.

They carry a wide selection of helms, from the great helm to Viking helms, as well as Spanish morion helms. They also have some armour braces, greaves, as well as other pieces, and chain mail, skirts, and hauberks (chain mail coats). But what I like about this place is some of the other things they offer.

They offer calico shirts, doublets, porpoint, top coats, hats and hoods, and even dresses, in addition to leather goods like pouches, bags, medleval sandals, shoes, boots, sheaths and scabbards, and Mr. George Heeley is a very cordial man.

The Archery Centre

Now I will mentlon "The Archery Centre". Here you will find a variety of bows, but of interest are the English Longbow; the flat bow (short), and the short recurves; all quite authentic looking for those role playing gamers who like to dress the part.

Chris Boyton

And now I will mention one Chris Boyton. He has been referred to as "the best medieval longbow maker In the United Kingdom". So, for that fighter with exceptlonal strength, now he can have that custom bow he has always wanted.

Until next time: May your wits and weapons edges always be razor sharp!

Rau, Mystic Keeper of the Holy Armoury.
